This is Socialised Medicine

As the GOP go on about how ‘socialised medicine’ will bring about the downfall of the US – click here and have a look at what socialised medicine really looks like.

I promise – if you do look you will not go to hell in a hand basket.

And the GOPers say you have no choice in the NHS. I will add to that, though – even a brilliant hospital like the Royal Marsden – the NHS is still not as good as the French system (also socialised).

But we can live in hope.

The Royal Marsden is the world’s oldest hospital dedicated to cancer treatment, research and education. Today, The Royal Marsden is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe treating over 40,000 patients every year.

Together with our academic partner, The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), The Royal Marsden has discovered or developed more new anti-cancer drugs than other comparable research institution worldwide.

The Royal Marsden is now the proud owner of one of the most technologically advanced surgical systems in the world – the da Vinci S robot.

This pioneering piece of equipment is modernising the way the hospital carries out minimally invasive surgery. The state-of-the-art da Vinci uses robotic arms to carry out keyhole surgery, resulting in faster recovery and shorter hospital stays for patients.

And more!

But – all that is free at the point of use, no co-pay, no deductible, no worries about how you are going to feed yourself and pay your medical bill, no one to say that you have a pre-existing, from the day you are born to the day you leave this mortal coil.

Yeah – socialised medicine is evil!
