No logic in funding.

Though the Torygraph isn’t the first to bring it up, after the expenses scandals, the paper is going out of its way to bring other dodgy policies to the fore – and this one I agree with wholeheartedly.

Under the idiotic Barnett system Scotland is over funded by England. It really is as simple as that.

If Scotland wants to be governed from Westminster then that is fine – and it should be funded in a way where the Scottish people don’t lose out.

Yet, from recent times it seems they do not want to be governed from Westminster – hence the devolved State parliamentary system we have today. England needs her regional governments – yet I do not believe that those regions want complete devolution – though after what has happened in Westminster of late you could understand if they did.
