Sir Lancelot, Canada, and Oil Sands…

What do they have in common?

Alberta tourism!

No seriously. A picture used in a new campaign to get tourists, I presume from Britain, you know, to make them feel at home, to visit the province is a picture taken in England.

And it is the beach near the castle reputably the home of Sir Lancelot.

You have to love the closeness Alberta has with the UK. You can understand it though – i-ma-gine the photo of all that oil sands with a nice font scribbling across – “Visit Alberta!”

I must admit I would love to go there one day, though – so this post is all in jest – albeit true.

Come to Alberta – no wait, it’s Britain.
