Bush: I was, sorry to say this, but an utter Berk!

Bush harkens back to a time when he wishes he was a good president.

There are some, a few – very few, who look at the Bush presidency as something good – for the love in me I cannot understand why – but…

In an interview today Bush said that he wishes he han’t said certain things – much like the mission accomplished statement:

On Tuesday, the president also referenced the moment aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003, during which he declared an end to major combat operations in Iraq.

“They had a sign that said ‘Mission Accomplished.’ It was a sign aimed at the sailors on the ship, but it conveyed a broader knowledge. To some it said, well, Bush thinks the war in Iraq is over, when I didn’t think that. But nonetheless, it conveyed the wrong message.”

Seems that the GOPer who were looking on didn’t think about moving the camera angle. But no – it was a “Whoop – Booyah” moment. The fighting had gone fine, little resistance and Bob’s ya uncle – Iraq invaded. Booyah, indeed!

Bush made many, many mistakes – how on this God’s Earth he was voted in the second time is still up for debate – but I would like to say –

Bye!
