I don’t know about you – but shouldn’t AP be reporting the news?
The first thing you notice is that this CNN story says it cannot verify what it is saying – so why is it a headline story on their political site?
CNN has not been able to independently verify her immigration status. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Kelly Nantel said the agency “is prohibited from commenting on any individual’s status.”
But they still run with it.
AP has come out more and more with certain bias – so has CNN with their reporting – all this from the “Best Political Team on TV”?
Democratic U.S. Rep. John Conyers of Michigan fired off a letter asking Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to investigate whether someone leaked the information to the media in an effort to damage Obama.
“The AP reports that it ‘could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved,’ a very disturbing (suggestion) indeed,” read the letter from Conyers, who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
“This leak is deplorable and I urge you to take immediate action to investigate and discipline those responsible.”
The Department of Homeland Security had no immediate response to the letter.
So, we see that even the current Administration could be involved in the election process – not that you would have Bush on the stumps for McCain – but his insiders working to spoil the election for those who want someone else other than John McCain in the White House – you can trust John McCain!?
In his book, Obama writes of meeting his aunt when he visited Kenya as a young man.
“A tall, brown-skinned woman was smiling beside us, and Auma [Obama’s half-sister] turned and said, ‘Barack, this is Auntie Zeituni. Our father’s sister,” Obama wrote.
“‘Welcome home,’ Zeituni said, kissing me on both cheeks.”
It is not clear when Onyango arrived in the United States.
So, again, no one knows when she arrived in the US and Barack Obama was a young kid when he met her.
The McCain campaign stinks! Why, if this is the case of bringing up anything and everything on a persons life, why doesn’t CNN, AP all ask John McCain about his involvement with the Keating 5 – re-run that story – splash it all over the web – ask the McCain camp about it.
John McCain has done nothing but attack Barack Obama – never speaking about what he will do other than what he will do to line his own pocket.
Why don’t CNN and AP report on how much of a tax break John McCain and his wife will get under his own tax plans? Ask him how much George Bush will get under his tax plans?
No? Thought not – that is called, AP and CNN, political bias.
No Bias, No bull – my arse!
