This is the result of such negative campaigning

John McCain and his campaign have to take their part of the responsibility for these two young men trying to kill Barack Obama.

Why? All you need to do is go back a week or so and listen to what his campaign – specifically Palin were saying.

She called Obama a pal of terrorists, questioned his authenticity as pro-American, and asked – on numerous occasions – who is the real Barack Obama. The McCain campaign allowed the code of hate on the very stage that he himself would be using.

There are many of us out there that said at the time these things would be latched on to by those who just needed the simplest of excuses to act like these two have.

The U.S. attorney’s office in Jackson, Tennessee, said Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were self-described white supremacists who met online through a mutual friend.

Both men have been charged with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federally licensed gun dealer and making threats against a presidential candidate.

The men planned to kill more than 100 African-Americans, including 14 who would be beheaded, according to the affidavit. But federal law enforcement sources said there was no evidence Cowart, of Bells, Tennessee, and Schlesselman, of West Helena, Arkansas, had any details of Obama’s schedule.

How, just how is this anything that should be happening in a civilised country?

Keep using that fight tactic, John – this is where it is leading.

Sickening – just sickening!

  1. leapsecond says:

I don’t think you can blame it on the McCain campaign, Will. These guys were hardcore white supremacists from the start, it seems – I don’t think the McCain campaign incited anything here.

Though, it does make me fear for the attempts on Obama’s life if he becomes president.

  2. Rebel Without A Pause says:

Why does anyone find this surprising?

From the very onset, McCain and Palin have bent over backwards pandering and encouraging the intolerance festering within the Republican party in their bid not just to defeat but to demonize and destroy Obama. The only time McCain opened his mouth about the xenophobic religious and racial barbarism he was courting and cultivating, was when the media turned up the heat on him when one of his supports said she “didn’t like or trust Obama because he’s an Arab.” Even then, McCain’s repudiation of the comment was lukewarm. When Hillary Clinton was running, a supporter at a McCain rally yelled out that Hillary was a bitch, which brought immediate applause and laughs of approval from everyone—including McCain.

Then there was the “NASCAR Dad” at the RNC who declared that he “wasn’t no COLORED BOY” and the only “change” he knew about as far as any black man was concerned was “a tin cup.” And let’s not forget Rudy “Ru Paul” Julliani and his sneering, cosmopolitan racist dig about Barrack being an “affirmative action baby” (I think Rudy’s six-inch high heels were a bit too tight that night).

And of course, there’s this latest development:

When the race-baiting and McCarthyism that the far-right element of the Republican Party has cultivated into an art-form and has no peer in exploiting, becomes a crucial part of the McCain/Palin campaign strategy, is it any wonder that individuals like these come crawling out from the bottom of their septic tanks?

Look at the bright side. At least they’re more honest about what they are and what they truly represent than all of the pseudo-intellectual pundits, “Barbie and Ken” party strategists and radio talk show hosts hiding the same virulent racism behind neo-conservative double-speak, expensive suits and degrees from prestigious universities.

    Obama/Biden ‘08
Because four more years of the last eight would REALLY suck…

If McCain/Palin win the White House, what good will it be?

If the nastiest, dirtiest, most erratic campaign mounted in the 21st Century
(and even though it’s only a few years old, that is saying something),
can triumph over the most obvious leader to emerge in decades,
what hope does our nation have?

What direction would a McCain/Palin administration take us?
Do you think that they even know themselves?
Have you noticed that the color scheme of the McCain campaign
isn’t even red, white and blue? It’s blue, white and gold. Which USA is that?

All I hear from the McCain/Palin camp is “Barack this,” and “Obama that.”

What I hear from Obama is “We can do this,” and “we can fix that.”

I say, let’s vote for hope, change and a continuation of Democracy.
4 more years of Reaganomics will turn us into

  4. Mike says:

After I saw this video, I couldn’t possibly vote for McCain..

He personally admits he ran for ambition, not issues, and the rest of the parts shows proof of him lying in his own words on lots of critical topics (economy, national security, etc).

  5. John McCain says:

O c’mon, Willy – those patriots haven’t done anything wrong. It’s called “the right of free speech” – something you communist cunts don’t know.
Besides, you have to acknowledge that even in the 1960s it was not a crime to kill Negroes in the southern states. Those boys were just playing.

  6. No Mccain says:

Mccain has a plan for all of us Americans that one can notice with just the last few minutes of his closing arguments speech… and it invokes a draft over the horizon..

    click on my name.

  7. B0bbyG says:

I don’t consider John McCain to be in any way responsible for this, but it is utterly sickening. People like that should be locked up.

  8. Non Racist says:

When I look at these pictures, the first thing I think is how much better those two would look after a .50 in the nose.

  9. Pangolin says:

Now everyone just calm down. These boys are just big, scared, babies that were never taught to negotiate with the world for what they wanted. Ma and Pa kettle told them from the moment that they were born that everything that was wrong with their lives was because “those people” took all the money away from them.

Everything from the grease in the sink, the trash in the yard to the beat up car that never worked right was because some dark-skinned person somewhere was taking their rightful place in the world. Nobody bothered to mention that the rightful place in the world of white kids that don’t study is standing on the dumb end of a hoe.

Looks like the boys finally figured that out and were set to commit suicide. Too dumb to do that right either. Poor boys, they won’t get another chance for years. To make it all worse there is nothing the guards in prison hate more than white nazis. It’s so close to where the guard’s souls live that they physically beat their fears back.
