I really don’t think I have seen Hillary Clinton so determined.
While she was at the podium you could see how angry she was – or was that me, I don’t really know – but I can see why she is so formidable. Her face, the expression was serious and she made it quite, quite sure she wants her supporters to back Barack Obama, even to the tune of ‘deputising’ them to go out and get Biden and Obama into the White House.
It is true that Bill and Hillary are stumping for you it is good – they are interacting with the people who need to vote for Obama come November. Hillary Clinton came out and said with a stern voice that the polls in the media mean nothing – the poll that counts is in November – which is true, we all know that this is true!
People cannot believe the polls – they cannot be complacent with a smile and say that it is Obama’s race – they MUST vote. It does not matter if it is a landslide or a 1% win for Obama – they can then say that Obama is president. Then the work can begin in getting America back – getting the country working for the people again.
Obama is an inspirational figure – so much so that a Nun, and not just any Nun, a 106 year old Nun is wanting to vote, and is voting for Obama:
Sister Cecilia Gaudette, who last voted for President Eisenhower in 1952, has registered to vote and says she will vote for Democrat Barack Obama.
“I’m encouraged by Senator Obama,” she says.
“I’ve never met him, but he seems to be a good man with a good private life. That’s the first thing. Then he must be able to govern,” she adds.
Make you wonder how many more people are watching Obama and thinking the same thing.
Let’s hope that it is many and that they, too, will vote on November 4th. Let us all believe that Obama can win big – showing that America is on the right track and the world can breath a little easier.
