It really wasn’t long in coming…but
Parti Québécois are putting pressure on Gilles Duceppe to bring about a statement that Quebec be a nation – separate nation within Canada.
This in a time when the national election is going on – every opportunity is given to these people to voice their separatist stance. So I have an idea – why not allow everybody else in Canada vote in a referendum on Quebec – but not allow Quebec and that provinces residents a vote.
Let the question be: Do you feel that Quebec should be thrown out of the Federation and forced to pay back all investments to the Federal budget?
Or something like that – some wording where Quebec should be subject to the nonsense that they cry at every given opportunity?
I speak to a lot of Canadians and many, if not all, are getting quite fed up with the “Quebec Question”.
But – Quebec is a part of Canada, it isn’t a part of the Canadian Constitution. On that link – just read some of the replies.
I did laugh out loud when Harper referred to ‘Quebec as a Nation within a United Canada’ – but that seems not enough – now Duceppe wants it enshrined in the Canadian Constitution – just say no.
Then, when the general election is over – sit back and say that we are going to allow a referendum on Quebec – see how they like it!
