It's the Economy, Stupid!

Let’s not forget McCain has voted nine out of ten times with Bush, then stated the economy is fine, including that we have become a nation of whiners. Well, John, the numbers are out on how much debt the United States is in $407 billion dollars because tax revenue is down and spending is up. It is no wonder that John McCain is not talking about the issues, because the tax cut and spend policies of George W. Bush that John McCain wants to continue, is driving the United States further and further into debt a trend that we cannot afford.

Senator Barack Obama needs to stay on the issues and remind people of those those facts, because this is the real issue: the economy.

Will, Mccain never said we were a nation of whiners. A former advisor of his said that. not mccain.

  2. Julie P says:

Regardless, Steve, McCain still believes the economy is in great shape, which it is not.

  3. Will Rhodes says:

Again, Steve – I refer you to a post response earlier, please READ who posted this post and who authored it!

  4. steve says:

Then please tell the author to correctly attribute the “nation of whiners” to the person who made the comment, and not mccain. this is your blog. you should want accurate statements on it, right?

  5. Julie P says:

Steve, the person was a part of the McCain campaign. When that person spoke, he spoke on McCain’s behalf, regardless of the outcome. However, since you don’t vote, that makes you a part of the problem and not the solution.

  6. steve says:

    @ Julie P

Then if that’s true, Hillary Clinton is a racist because Geralidine Ferraro, part of the clinton Campaign, said that Barack only won because he’s black. Can’t have it both ways Julie.

Mccain disagreed witht he guy, and the guy is no longer an advisor to Mccain.

  7. Julie P says:

I have watched McCain stump during the summer claiming the economy was in great shape, when it wasn’t. However, Steve, since you do not vote you have nothing worthwhile to offer.

  8. steve says:

    @ Julie P

Don’t change the subject. You said that Mccain must share the view of people of his campaign. So Hillary must as well. Geraldine Ferraro made racist comment about Obama. Therefor Hillary is a racist, or would you care to retract your comment of attributing things to people who didn’t make the comment?

  9. Julie P says:

Do you vote? If you answer no, then you have nothing of value to contribute. Have a nice day.

    2 points:r
    1. The debt is in trillion of dollars. The post is incorrectly referring to the debt, when I believe it means the deficit. This should be changed!!

    2. McCain’s advisor made that comment. Hence, if we want to claim that we are better then the GOP we should NOT mislead. We don’t need that statement as evidence that McCain is not up on the Economy, nor that he fairly recently didn’t believe there was much to worry about.

By all means, leave your 2 bobs worth
