But didn't John McCain say country first?

I think I must be a bit dim!

Now – if your political platform is “Country first” and that you always put the country first – isn’t that inclusive of everyone in that country or a certain sector – like those who like you?

Well – Coat-hanger McCain says now that Gustav is off the Louisiana coast “We are Americans first – not Republicans”. Odd that.

But not so odd when you think about what McCain says and actually means. Obama emails everyone to ask for donations to be sent to the disaster relief – McCain, now remember he isn’t politicking, heads to the disaster zone – instead of staying away. Now there will be a lot of photo ops – but he is just being American.

Just when I though he couldn’t get any lower – he goes lower than a snakes belly. And this is the guy that some want as President?

I could puke!

McCain will attend some small events Monday in Pennsylvania, a senior aide told CNN.

Huh? But I thought he wasn’t, you know, political rhetoric etc?

A senior McCain source said Saturday that officials were considering turning the convention into a massive telethon to raise money for the Red Cross and other agencies to help with hurricane aid.

“He wants to do something service oriented if and when the storm hits and it’s as bad as it’s expected to be now,” the McCain source said.

Into a telethon!? W – T – F ?

No policy statements? No anything – just a telethon? What is this guy thinking?

If the RNC were to talk about his policies, then they could turn it into a 30 minute sit-com.

Hi, Will. This one is not among your strongest posts. It felt as if you had not made enough distinction between McCain and Obama, or what McCain did and what could have ideally been done to merit the emotional impact that you gave the post. I am certainly open to explanations, of course. I just didn’t feel the umf that I often feel from your posts.

  3. Howard says:

Obama supporters are foolish to think that he will never betray them.
Obama was a close friend of Pastor Wright for TWENTY YEARS.
Obama threw Wright under the bus for personal ambition.
McCain would not betray his country even after 5 years of torture.
You can put lipstick on a traitor, but he’s still a traitor.

By all means, leave your 2 bobs worth
