Interesting e-mail

And not spam!

I received an e-mail from the Obama campaign today stating that those of us who sign up will get the alerts about who is going to be the vice-president pick on the Obama ticket.

So I had to share it:

Dear Will —

Barack Obama is about to make one of the most important decisions of this campaign — choosing a running mate.

You have helped build this movement from the bottom up, and Barack wants you to be the first to know his choice.

Sign up today to be the first to know:

You will receive an email the moment Barack makes his decision, or you can text VP to 62262 to receive a text message on your mobile phone.

Once you’ve signed up, please forward this email to your friends, family, and coworkers to let them know about this special opportunity.

No other campaign has done this before. You can be part of this important moment.

Be the first to know who Barack selects as his running mate.

David Plouffe
Campaign Manager
Obama for America

So – if you want to be one of the first to know – sign-up!

Got that one as well, twice. First from the Obama, then from a friend.

  2. Will Rhodes says:

😀 Glad you are a Obama fan, Julie.

  3. Julie P says:

I’ve been donating money to his campaign since day one.

I got it too. Sorry Will, I’m not much of an Obama fan. I think I got it because when I registered to vote, I clicked on a link from a liberal website I was at to get to the form and it asked for my e-mail. Cool idea though. Obama’s campaign is making jumps that are surely more appealing to younger voters.

You better let me know ASAP!

    Somehow, I was overlooked. 🙂

By all means, leave your 2 bobs worth
