Who the feck is this!?

Who the feck is this!?

Take a look at that image
– a real, really hard look!

Now tell me if this makes any sense whatsoever!

“Lad mags” encourage irresponsible behaviour among young men and promote a negative image of women, a leading Tory is due to say.

I sat at the PC opened up the story – because I thought it was going to be a good one – looked at my wife and asked “What do you think of him?”

“He’s a Liberal (Conservative in British terms) stick up his ass and he’s probably gay” – I have to make a disclaimer here, no one knows if he is gay or not. But him being a British Conservative politician we have to say that because they are prone to sue – even if they are gay. Odd, eh?

But – back to the story. He believes that lad’s mags are to blame for the overt sexism in UK society – I don’t know what it used to be if that’s the case – in the 40s, 50s, 60s etc they didn’t have lads mags. So we can only make the assumption that sexism was never part of British society before the advent of said lads mags! What a frigging shocker!

Mr Gove is due to give his speech on family, marriage and education at a meeting organised by the left-leaning think tank IPPR.

Teaching responsibility

“Titles such as Nuts and Zoo paint a picture of women as permanently, lasciviously, uncomplicatedly available,” his speech says.

Sweet Jesus!

He will stress the Conservative commitment to measures supporting marriage and the family – including use of the tax system – and suggest the drive to reduce teenage pregnancy should put more emphasis on making young men come to terms with their responsibilities.

Ah – so a magazine is to blame – I get ya! Didn’t some geek go through all this when they slammed Jackie magazine?

Why oh why can’t governments and, in this case, opposition take the full responsibility themselves for shagging up society?

And this lot will be voted into power at the next election – and they wonder why people are leaving the UK in droves.

Set of pillocks!

Deviancy predates civilization… And may predate recorded history as well as our own species.

Some of the biggest homophobes out there do tend to be closted gays. But it could be that his demeanour as a carefully crafted public image might be unintentionally giving off that impression. Irony eh?

This kind of morality thumping takes place at one time or another. Fear and misdirected rage are wonderful tools at camouflaging the real demons in society.

We’ve tried it in the States once.
Called it “Prohibition” and the monster of choice was alcohol. It was a miserable failure.

And any future attempt at legislating morality will also take a nose dive as well save, heaven forbid, Personal Responsibility™ on the part of the adults, parents, teachers, and the children themselves.

Who needs the real cures for society’s ills, when a placebo will do nicely.

Eloquently put – and I agree with you.

And don’t the ladettes, with their magazines and their debauched hen nights etc, balance the equation a bit, anyway? Staring at us poor men as if we are nothing more than sex objects? (Yes, okay, it doesn’t happen to me all that much, but you know what I mean 😉 )

When can real men be accepted we’ve had the feminist revolution which I’m sorry to say has lead to them beng in more control.

  5. UK Voter says:

I can see that the Conservative party have really got to the root of what causes the public most concern!

Don’t worry about the economy, crime, health, education, unemployment, energy prices, recession etc. As you can see, the Conservative party isn’t looking to win the next election, because they know that the labour party are sure to lose it, so why worry about serious issues?

But at least we know what labour ministers do in their spare time and no doubt with their spare hand. No finger pointing please!

  6. UK Voter says:

    Last sentence should have read…

But at least we know what conservative MP’s do in their spare time and no doubt with their spare hand. No finger pointing please! (Sorry labour!)

By all means, leave your 2 bobs worth
