Obviously I am an Englishman, and I LOVE politics and the wholehearted cynicism that comes with it.

I have lived long enough to know that politics isn’t Athenian – it is Roman.

I am opinionated, and I do know that my opinion can and will be challenged – so what? We all have an opinion and we will all stand up for our and ours alone, because we believe the other person to be wrong.

I detest conservative policy, which includes the ridiculous Libertarian stand of all for one and all for one – sod everyone else.

I am a liberal, liberal left and I believe in social democracy, liberty and freedom.

Some freedoms other left-wingers don’t like me to have, but I say they can go fuck themselves on that one. I believe in the freedom of speech – and if that means someones feelings get hurt – tough. Without debate we are nothing and to debate fully we have to have the freedom to do so.

So if you have something worthwhile to say – say it, and if I don’t like it I will delete it.
